There is a #yitan channel on IRC. To join through webchat, just enter your nickname:
Or you can access irc://irc.freenode.net/yitan using your dedicated client.

IRC is Internet Relay Chat, one of the oldest forms of multi-party text chat, to take notes and coordinate the conversation here.

Unlike Yahoo Chat or most other messaging systems, it does not require registration.

If you are running the open-source Firefox browser (which we recommend highly), you have a quick way to add IRC by installing the extension called Chatzilla.

XChat-WDK also looks quite good. (Documentation says it's supplanted by http://www.hexchat.org/

Microsoft's Internet Explorer does not yet feature IRC, but you can install mIRC or many other client apps.

Read this for tips on why IRC is worth figuring out. For a list of other IRC clients, head here. For the more adventuresome, here is the IRC Help Archive. Wikipedia's IRC page is pretty technical.

Once your IRC client is installed, click on #yitan to get to the right room.
