This year, Google will sell more ads than any newspaper chain, magazine publisher or TV network. Next year it will probably grow ad sales 30 percent. What traditional ad business is growing at 30 percent?
Strangely enough, Google didn't start out yearning to be the premier ad network on the globe. They certainly have other initiatives under way, from desktop-alternative software to a possible WiFi cloud and rumors of a PayPal-like Google Wallet. These delightful forces will help us discuss:
